Arabic Sweets in Dubai, Baked Fresh the Traditional Way
When guests come over in the UAE, the coffee usually arrives with a plate of something sweet. A few date-filled cookies, some crumbly shortbread, maybe a piece of baklava for whoever gets there first. Those small plates are what our Arabic sweets range is made for.
At Cake Al Taybeen, we bake our Arabic sweets in UAE fresh with rich butter, semolina, fresh dates, and pistachios. The recipes are old ones, and we haven’t tried to reinvent them. What’s new is the packaging and presentation, so a box of our sweets looks just as good on a gift table as it does next to the coffee pot.
What’s on the Tray?
Our traditional Arabic sweets range from recipes you’ll recognize to a few you may be trying for the first time. Here’s a quick guide:
- Chocolate Rangena (12 pieces): Rangena is an old favorite made with dates and a buttery toasted-flour topping. We’ve added chocolate, and the result is soft, rich, and hard to stop at one.
- Aseeda Egali Bites: Aseeda is a warm, comforting dessert of toasted flour and butter, traditionally served on cold mornings and at family gatherings. We’ve turned it into bite-sized pieces you can pick up with your fingers, which makes them much easier to share at a party.
- Khobz Momalh: A lightly salted bread for anyone who wants something to balance all the sugar. It’s a nice break between sweets and goes especially well with Arabic coffee.
- Fawalah Alasr: This one is all about afternoon guests. Bites of our signature cake come surrounded by seasonal sweets, arranged for sharing, much like the afternoon spreads families used to set out when visitors arrived.
- Baklava: Thin layers of crisp, golden pastry wrapped around a rich filling that brings a lot of people looking for baklava in Dubai to our counters. Order a few pieces to go with your coffee, or a full box for guests.
- And the classics: Our shelves also carry milk bread, mango cake, saffron and raspberry bites, and more.
Kunafa, Warm and Golden
Kunafa is made with fine shredded pastry baked until crisp and golden, layered with a soft, creamy filling, and finished with sweet syrup. It’s best eaten warm, so you’ll need a fork and a little patience. If you’re searching for kunafa in Dubai to share after a family dinner, ask at your nearest branch or order online.
Everyone has their own idea of the best kunafa in Dubai, usually the one they grew up with. We’d just like ours to be on your list.
Sweets for Gifting, Gatherings, and Ordinary Days
Arabic sweets turn up at nearly every occasion in the UAE, from Eid visits and weddings to new-baby gatherings and plain weekday afternoons. We pack ours with that in mind.
For gifts, our assorted trays combine several sweets in one box, so you don’t have to guess what the host prefers. These are a popular choice with people taking Arabic sweets in UAE back to family abroad.
Hosting a bigger crowd? Order a tray or two, set them next to a cake or a box of cupcakes, and your dessert table is sorted.
Delivery Across Dubai and the UAE
Order online through our website or call us on 055 360 0100 for Arabic dessert delivery in Dubai and across the UAE. Baklava delivery in Dubai works the same way, with no minimum order needed for a small treat at home.
If you’d rather pick your sweets in person, our Dubai branches are in Jumeirah and Mirdif. We’re also in Muwailah in Sharjah, Shahama and Al Ain in Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. Searching for Arabic sweets near me? Check our branch locations to find the one closest to you.
